Shizuka, the earnest class representative, has quietly worried about her classmate Usui for some time. The soft-spoken boy spends his days at the beck and call of the "Three Idiots," a trio of delinquents who treat him as their personal errand runner and bully him without mercy. Like everyone else, Shizuka assumes his gentle, timid nature is the reason he never fights back. Her assumptions are upended one day when she is cornered by a pack of delinquents while out in town. As luck would have it, the Three Idiots happen to pass by and rush in to rescue her—only to be utterly overwhelmed by a gang far tougher than they are, and suddenly everyone's prospects look grim. Just then, Usui wanders back onto the scene, unhurried, having stepped away to buy drinks for his tormentors. "Oh, your buddies are still standing? Don't blame me if I happen to break them!" One devastating blow later, the fearsome gang lies in ruins—and even the Three Idiots end up yelping in pain. The quiet boy Shizuka had pitied all along turns out to be a staggeringly powerful fighter.
