Hong Kong: Reborn in 1979

"Mr. Jiang, what do you think about being d믭 the 'Female Star Sniper'?" "That's slander. I will definitely sue for defamation." "But today's paper reported that you were seen dating two actresses at the Peninsula Hotel last night. How do you explain that?" "Which newspaper?" "Are you planning to sue again, Mr. Jiang, or just buy them out?" "Which publication are you from?" Jiang Yi is reborn into 1970s Hong Kong. He starts by trading electrical appliances to accumulate his initial capital, then plunges headfirst into the manufacturing industry. Through the oil crisis and the Iran-Iraq War, he rises to become a tycoon. He acquires a television station, launches magazines and newspapers, and seizes control of the media to become Hong Kong's Emperor of Press. Yet as more and more gossip columns emerge, his reputation as a business prodigy is completely buried beneath the scandalous title of "Female Star Sniper." Jiang Yi can only protest helplessly that it is all slander and false rumors.
