Girl in the Birdcage

Yeonkwang Arts High School operates on a rigid hierarchy that separates the gifted from the ordinary. Students in the Gifted and Talented program enjoy full privileges—generous funding, elite training, and entry into exclusive competitions—while those outside it are left to struggle on their own, clinging to the hope of one day earning a place among the chosen. In this environment, talent is the ultimate currency. But the balance of power shifts when Chung-eun, a G/T student, finds herself falling for Yumi, who belongs to the non-G/T majority. Blinded by Yumi’s allure, Chung-eun remains unaware that behind her charm lies a hidden scheme.
