Cooking with Wild Game

Asuta Tsurumi was an ordinary Japanese teenager training to become a chef—until the harassment targeting his family’s restaurant reached a breaking point. In a desperate bid to save his father’s treasured cooking knife, he threw himself into a blaze. Instead of meeting his end, however, he awoke in an unfamiliar world. Fortunately, he was taken in by Ai Fa, a skilled huntress with a sharp tongue and a fierce independent streak. But her help comes with its own challenges, and she carries burdens that run deeper than Asuta initially realizes. Now, in a land where danger stalks the wilderness and the rules of the kitchen are rewritten entirely, this rookie chef must rely on his craft simply to stay alive—and prove that his skills are worth more than their weight in wild game.
