Ruri Dragon

Ruri's high school experience should be defined by nothing more than the usual trials of adolescence—pushy classmates, tiresome teachers, and the daily grind of lessons. Instead, shortly after starting school, she wakes to find dragon horns sprouting from her head, bringing with them the most staggering revelation of her life: Ruri is a dragon. Well, half a dragon, to be exact. Her mother calmly explains that these draconic traits were inherited from Ruri's father—who, as it happens, genuinely is a dragon. Suddenly, the ordinary challenges of teenage life take on an entirely new dimension, as curious classmates begin to notice that the girl sitting among them is harboring something extraordinary. As if being the center of unwanted attention weren't difficult enough, Ruri's dragon genes quite literally turn up the heat in the middle of a lecture, making it clear that her newly awakened nature refuses to stay hidden. Caught between a normal adolescence and a supernatural heritage, Ruri must adapt to a life that is rapidly becoming anything but ordinary.
