Tokyo Ghoul:re

Two years have passed since the CCG's devastating raid on Anteiku, and the landscape of Tokyo has been irrevocably altered. With the organization's influence now looming larger than ever, the city's ghoul population has been forced into the shadows, operating with a newfound caution that makes them a more elusive threat than before. Chief among these dangers is the terrorist syndicate Aogiri Tree, which has grown increasingly desperate and aggressive in response to the CCG's mounting power, leading to a tense and volatile stalemate on the streets. In a bold move to break this deadlock, the CCG has deployed a new and experimental weapon: the Quinx Squad. These are humans who have undergone a radical surgical procedure, granting them the ability to wield the unique, predatory abilities of ghouls while retaining their humanity. Leading this specialized unit is Haise Sasaki, a half-ghoul, half-human investigator who was personally shaped into a weapon by the legendary Special Class Investigator, Kishou Arima. On the surface, Sasaki is a model leader, guiding his squad through perilous operations against the city's most dangerous creatures. Yet beneath his calm demeanor, a storm is brewing. His mind is a fortress under siege, as fragmented, agonizing memories of a past life claw their way to the surface, threatening to shatter his identity and reveal the ghost of the man he once was.
