When Akiyoshi Sunao was in middle school, his first girlfriend delivered a devastating blow with a casual, callous confession: she had been unfaithful to him with three other boys. The sheer cruelty of the betrayal left him deeply disillusioned, convincing him that romance was nothing more than a recipe for pain. Vowing to never let anyone close again, he locked away his heart and focused on rebuilding his life without the complications of love. Years later, Sunao is navigating university life when his carefully constructed walls begin to crack. He finds himself falling for a captivating classmate in the film club, and for the first time in a long while, he dares to believe that he might be ready to embrace a new relationship. But just as he starts to leave his traumatic past behind, a chance encounter with his duplicitous ex-girlfriend throws his fragile peace into chaos. That unsettling meeting proves to be only the beginning of his nightmare: the next morning, he awakens to an unthinkable reality—he has inexplicably swapped bodies with the very woman who shattered his trust. Now trapped in her form and forced to inhabit her daily life, Sunao must contend with the lingering ghosts of their shared history while enduring the absurd and horrifying ordeal of living inside the skin of his worst emotional wound.
