The King of Versus

For ten long years, Leo's world was limited to the quiet of the countryside, where a single game was all the entertainment he had. Cut off from the fast-moving world of gaming, he poured his time into that one lone title, never realizing how far the medium had evolved beyond his reach. Everything changes when Leo finally returns to the capital. Stepping back into city life, he is stunned by the sheer breadth of modern gaming—new genres, new technology, and experiences he never could have imagined. Every title feels like a revelation, unlocking a world that had been passing him by all this time. Welcoming him back is Annie, his childhood friend, who quickly notices something remarkable about him. Convinced that Leo possesses the raw talent of a natural competitor, she sees in him the makings of a true e-sports champion—and the spark of a journey that could carry him from countryside obscurity to competitive greatness.
