Mother Parasite

Ryota Miki is a middle schooler leading a contented life with his single mother—yet their bond is marked by an unusual tension, as she seems perpetually anxious about becoming even the smallest burden. In the same class, Kaoru Kasai has grown weary of his own mother's suffocating overprotectiveness, convinced her smothering ways are the reason he has become a target for bullies. Their paths cross when Ryota intervenes to rescue Kaoru from harassment, sparking an unexpected first conversation between them. This is a psychological suspense thriller centering on a boy driven by an obsessive quest for the perfect mother.
