Shigahime

"Are you sick?" "I suppose you could put it that way." Osamu Hirota lives the unremarkable life of an ordinary high school student—that is, until Soichi, a boy from a neighboring town, invites him to a mysterious mansion with the promise of an encounter with a seductive woman. Behind its doors awaits Miwako, a voluptuous beauty whose allure conceals something far from human. As she begins to undress, she plunges her hand deep into Soichi's chest and tears his heart from his body, all before Hirota's horrified eyes. The following morning, Hirota wakes up as if nothing had happened. Was the whole ordeal nothing more than a nightmare? Or has the curtain only just begun to rise on a dark and suspenseful tale that will pull him far deeper than he ever imagined?
