Police Meng Chuan: I'm Not a Forensic Expert

Rookie officer Meng Chuan has barely clocked in when he finds himself locking horns with his captain. His bold defiance earns him a surprise reassignment—a remote reservoir post that everyone jokes is a dead-end, yet secretly coveted for its easy hours and proximity to home. But just as he settles into his peaceful new role, his director slides him a confidential list of names and a quiet order: investigate. Suddenly, Meng Chuan's “retirement” posting becomes the center of a dangerous puzzle. With a mentor who speaks in riddles and a trail that leads far deeper than paperwork, he must rely on his wits and instincts. And despite the rumors—he is not a forensic expert, but that might be exactly what keeps him alive.
