Rebuild World

Human civilization has long since crumbled, and what remains is a world of vast, treacherous ruins—the decaying bones of an Old World that wielded technology beyond modern understanding. Scattered across these hazardous wastelands are relics capable of unimaginable power, artifacts that could make a fortune for the lucky soul who unearths them. But the ruins are alive with ancient security systems, rogue bioweapons, and deadly automatons that still guard the secrets of a bygone era. For most, the risk of death far outweighs the promise of wealth. For others, it is the only path forward. Akira knows this better than most. Born into the slums and raised by the harsh streets, he has nothing but a burning will to survive and a desperate hunger to escape the grinding poverty that consumes his life. Malnourished, untrained, and armed with little more than reckless ambition, he sets out to become a relic hunter—a profession that claims the lives of the unprepared with brutal efficiency. His chances of surviving even a single expedition are laughably slim, and the ruins promise nothing but a painful end for the reckless and the weak. But fate intervenes in the form of Alpha—a beautiful, ghostly woman who appears to him in the ruins, untethered by time and space as Akira knows it. She is no mere hallucination or benevolent spirit; she is a mysterious entity in search of a capable hunter, and she sees potential where others see a doomed boy. In exchange for his service, Alpha offers Akira the one thing he has never had: a true partner. With her guidance, advanced combat training, and access to knowledge far beyond the slums, Akira may just stand a chance in a world that crushes the naive beneath its heel. But in a world where trust is a rare commodity and survival comes at a steep price, the true question is whether his benefactor's aid will be enough to carry him to the top—or if the climb will consume him entirely.
