Today's Cerberus

Years ago, as a young boy, Chiaki Mikado crossed paths with a strange puppy unlike any other—one with three heads. The peculiar encounter ended with a bite, and that single bite cost him a fragment of his soul. Now a teenager, Chiaki drifts through life unable to take pleasure in anything, his days muted by the piece of himself he lost so long ago. But the mysterious hound has returned, and she is far from an ordinary dog. She is Cerberus, the legendary guardian of the gates of the underworld, and she has come to make amends for what happened. Even more surprising, her three heads are not one being but three distinct individuals—each manifesting as a pretty young girl with a personality all her own. Determined to right the wrongs of the past, Cerberus moves in as Chiaki's new roommate—or rather, roommates. With three lively guardians of the underworld now leading the charge in his everyday life, can Chiaki finally recover what was taken from him and experience the happiness that has eluded him for so long?
