Caste Heaven

Within the claustrophobic walls of his classroom, a brutal hierarchy reigns supreme, determined not by merit or talent, but by the random draw of a card. This is the caste system, a perverse game where the highest rank, the King, holds absolute dominion over the lower echelons. For Azusa, holding the King's card has been a ticket to unchecked tyranny, allowing him to enforce his will with ruthless cruelty upon his classmates without consequence. He basks in the intoxicating power of his position, believing his reign to be unassailable. However, the fickle nature of the game is its only true law. Azusa’s world shatters when a treacherous plot strips him of his throne, forcing him to draw the lowest possible rank: the Target. In a single, devastating moment, his pride is reduced to ashes, and the fear he once inspired transforms into a vicious glee among those he formerly oppressed. Now the prime subject of relentless bullying, Azusa experiences the same degradation he once dealt. With no escape from this new reality, a degrading ultimatum is placed before him—he can surrender his body and will to the new King’s possessive whims, or face the unthinkable horror of being used by the entire class. Trapped in a vortex of humiliation and desperation, Azusa must decide what he is willing to sacrifice for a sliver of salvation in a world that has turned its back on him.
