Gosan no Heart

Gosan no Heart is a collection of boys' love stories exploring the complexities of unexpected romance. In the titular story, "The Heart of Miscalculation," high school student Miki impulsively asks Udou—a classmate from the neighboring room—to date him while Udou is in the middle of an argument with his ex-girlfriend. What begins as a fleeting whim and a casual game soon shifts into something far more intense. As they spend time together, Miki finds himself growing unexpectedly comfortable in Udou's presence. Behind closed doors, Udou takes the lead with calculated tenderness, leaving Miki overwhelmed by unfamiliar sensations and sweet passion. Forced to confront his changing feelings, Miki struggles with the realization that his body and heart are reacting in ways he never anticipated, blurring the lines between a traditional boyfriend dynamic and playful flirtation in this tale of pure yet transgressive high school love. The anthology also features "Last Summer Blues," a bittersweet narrative centered on two boys bound by their shared love of baseball. In "A Vulnerable Afternoon," Oomura's broken glasses force him to see his coworker Tamachi in a completely new light, potentially revealing the man's hidden good qualities. The volume concludes with the bonus story "The World Revolves Around You."
