Betty is no ordinary young man—he is an alien who has traveled to Earth with a single, calculated ambition: to clone the perfect human slave and sell the results across the galaxy for a fortune. Armed with a DNA sample taken from an ordinary Earth girl, he sets his scheme in motion, fully confident that his plan will unfold without a hitch. The experiment, however, goes spectacularly wrong. Instead of one obedient duplicate, the girl's genetic material produces two clones with personalities as different as night and day. The first is Vanilla, a bold, voluptuous blonde with a rude streak who declares that she is in love with Betty himself. The second is Chocolate, a short, sensible boy who frets anxiously over everything. Neither one resembles the compliant servant Betty had in mind. Determined to discover where his science failed, Betty begins shadowing the human girl whose DNA started it all. But as an alien with no real understanding of human behavior, his observation mission quickly spirals into one complication after another—and to his own bewilderment, he finds himself developing genuine feelings for the very girl he set out to exploit.
