Area 88

In the kingdom of Asran, Japanese photojournalist Makoto Shinjou arrives at the remote airbase Area 88 to document the activities of the mercenaries who fight against the country's enemies. Among these mercenaries is Shin Kazama, a skilled Japanese pilot who made a career-ending mistake by signing a contract with the Asran fighter squad. Shin is now trapped in Area 88, forced to choose between serving the mercenary group for three years, earning $1.5 million, or risking death by deserting the base. As Shin navigates his difficult situation, he must confront his past and the consequences of his decisions.
