Douluo: The Frost Sky Sword and My Childhood Friend Qian Renxue

After transmigrating to the Douluo Continent, Wu Qingkong awakens the Frost Sky Sword as his martial soul. He is the grandson of a Limit Douluo, but his family’s glory faded after his grandfather failed the Asura God’s inheritance trial, losing all his cultivation in the process. To escape the continent's conflicts, the Wu family retreated from the martial world, settling in the outskirts of Heaven Dou City where Wu Qingkong runs a small restaurant to make ends meet. He expected a life of quiet simplicity, but everything changed three years ago when his grandfather, Wu Changming, passed away. On his deathbed, his grandfather revealed a shocking secret: an arranged marriage contract binding Wu Qingkong to Qian Renxue of the Spirit Hall. Horrified by the knowledge that Qian Renxue and the Spirit Hall are destined for ruin at the hands of the future God King Tang San, and having never even met her, Wu Qingkong immediately decides to annul the engagement. Coincidentally, his childhood friend, Qian Qinghe, faces a similar predicament with his own arranged marriage and boldly declares his intention to take control of his own destiny by rejecting his betrothal as well. Now, with the three-year mourning period concluded, Wu Qingkong steps out of his secluded home. The legend of the Frost Sky Sword is about to resonate across the entire continent.
