Official Details

Fresh out of college, Meiko Inoue finds herself trapped in a dull office job, going through the motions of an adult life that doesn't fit. Her boyfriend, Naruo, a struggling freelance illustrator, can't afford his own place and has effectively moved into her apartment. Meanwhile, care packages of vegetables from her rural parents pile up in her fridge, untouched and slowly spoiling. Caught between the fading freedom of student days and the relentless pull of responsibility, Meiko grapples with an unsettling doubt—that she simply wasn't made for the world she's supposed to join. In this uneasy in-between, music becomes more than just a pastime; it's a lifeline.
