Tatoeba Last Dungeon Mae no Mura no Shounen ga Joban no Machi de Kurasu Youna Monogatari

In a remote countryside village that has long been forgotten by the outside world, young Loyd harbors a simple yet earnest ambition: to stand among the ranks of the capital's soldiers. What he does not realize, however, is that his humble home is no ordinary settlement—it is a hidden bastion of legendary warriors and mages, where even the children wield strength that would make seasoned knights tremble. Blind to his own monstrous capabilities and utterly naive about the world beyond his pastoral upbringing, Loyd views himself as the weakest of his peers, convinced that the capital will offer him the chance to prove his worth as a common soldier. To turn his dream into reality, Loyd must first secure permission from the village's mayor—a seemingly young girl who happens to be a witch over a hundred years old. Despite her eternal, doll-like appearance and her deep reluctance to let go of the boy she has watched over for years, she eventually yields to his relentless determination. With her grudging blessing, Loyd packs his meager belongings and departs for the bustling metropolis, blissfully unaware that the "ordinary" skills he takes for granted are about to turn the capital's entire notion of power on its head. As he steps onto the grand stage of the city, his straightforward quest to become a soldier sets the foundation for a journey where his innocent obliviousness will repeatedly shatter the expectations of everyone he meets.
