Ace of the Diamond Act II

The memory of a single, perfect catch echoes in Eijun Sawamura's mind like a promise yet to be fulfilled. At just fifteen, his raw, untamed fastball found its way into the sturdy mitt of Kazuya Miyuki, a catcher whose cunning and precision left an indelible mark on the young pitcher's heart. That fleeting moment behind the plate ignited something profound within Sawamura—an unshakeable desire to stand on the mound and deliver his pitches into that very glove once more, proving that his unorthodox style could shine on the grandest stage. Driven by that singular ambition, Sawamura makes the courageous decision to leave behind the familiarity of his hometown, bidding a bittersweet farewell to the family and childhood friends who have always supported him. His destination is Seido High, a powerhouse institution renowned for cultivating some of the most formidable talent in the nation. Within its hallowed grounds, the competition is fierce and the expectations are sky-high, but Sawamura is undeterred. He arrives not merely to participate, but to challenge himself against the elite, to sharpen his wild instincts into a weapon, and to earn the right to face his destined battery partner once more. Surrounded by players who breathe baseball, he must now prove that his unconventional spirit and relentless determination are enough to carve his own path among giants.
