In the underground arcade, Reiji discovers the virtual reality game Dragon Drive, where players fight each other with unique, dragon-like creatures. As he becomes increasingly invested in the game, Reiji's skills improve, and he catches the attention of the game's staff. However, he soon learns that Dragon Drive is not just a game, but a gateway to a world in peril, and that he may hold the key to saving it from an evil force.
