Yane no Shita no Artemis

Saraki Sanosuke is a brilliant young university student—a prodigy of science whose intellect sets him apart from his peers. Yet for all his academic prowess, the everyday complexities of life often leave him fumbling. When a mundane part-time job at his former high school pulls him back into familiar hallways, he never expects to cross paths with the one person who once captivated his admiration: Kobachi Koharu, his old classmate and a recognized genius in her own right. But the girl he finds is not the rising star he remembers. In a bewildering twist of fate, Koharu is still a high school student—now in her fifth year, having failed her second year twice in a row. Once celebrated for her extraordinary gifts, she now appears trapped in a stagnant routine, her potential buried under an invisible weight. Tasked with an improbable mission, Saraki must set aside his own awkwardness and step into the role of her guide, determined to help her reclaim her future. As the school year ticks forward, Saraki finds himself wrestling not only with Koharu’s stubborn resistance but also with the fragile hope that he might be the one to finally unlock her dormant abilities. With graduation as the ultimate deadline, their unlikely partnership becomes a poignant struggle to bridge the gap between past brilliance and present reality—and perhaps, in the process, discover what it truly means to grow up.
