The 60 Killings of Katou

Katou, driven to desperation by relentless bullying, attempts to take his own life but instead awakens with supernatural abilities and a body impervious to harm. His first act with these newfound powers is to brutally murder his tormentor, Oda. However, to Katou's astonishment, Oda inexplicably revives, only to discover that he has developed the ability to hear the innermost thoughts of those around him. As Katou seeks to comprehend Oda's condition, he finds the latter reduced to a fragile, fearful shell of his former self, a far cry from the arrogant bully he once was. When the two are together, they experience a peculiar phenomenon - they become unable to hear each other's thoughts, and only in each other's presence do they find respite from their extraordinary abilities, temporarily regaining a sense of normalcy.
