Bokutachi ga Yarimashita

Tobio Masubuchi is content with his unremarkable life, yet he secretly hopes for a long and enjoyable future—one free from any major disruptions. Alongside his close friends Sho Isami, Yuki "Maru" Maruyama, and Hidero "Paisen" Kosaka, he spends his days carelessly, doing whatever pleases them. Their easygoing routine, however, comes to an abrupt halt when a group of delinquents from a rival school overhears Maru casually remark that they ought to die. What follows is a violent confrontation: Maru is abducted and savagely beaten. When his friends find him and witness the extent of his injuries, they are left horrified and furious. Seething with anger, Tobio rallies the others to exact immediate retribution. After deciding on a course of action, the four friends set their plan in motion. But their intended prank spirals into something far more grave, and Tobio’s dream of an untroubled existence is destroyed beyond repair.
