Lord Evolution

A cracked, dust-covered screen flickers with the following data: The list of past crops cultivated in the Sol III (Earth) reclamation domain: Trilobites – arthropod phylum, insect-class carbon-based crop (eliminated). Cultivation span: 270 million years. Reason for elimination: only yielded minute amounts of singular entropy upon death. Dinosaurs – chordate phylum, reptile-class flesh crop (eliminated). Cultivation span: 164 million years. Reason for elimination: moderate difficulty in rearing, produced poor biological energy yields. Humans – chordate phylum, mammal-class flesh crop (pending elimination). Advantages: multi-functional, composite crop with rich dimensional utility. 1. Flesh can serve as consumable material for genetic host reproduction. 2. Once occupied, the body becomes a superior exploration tool. 3. Human souls can be applied in over seventeen multi-dimensional fields. 4. Human emotions can be utilized in the mystical brewing arts. 5. After brain formatting, they are the lowest-cost carbon-based biological processing nodes—bar none. Cultivation span: 212,400 years (recommended for elimination). Disadvantage: the human base has grown too large and continues to evolve incessantly, making it highly prone to producing destructive contamination mutants. Suddenly, a deafening crash erupts nearby as a thick steel wall is cut down and collapses, dust billowing. Lu Jingchen steps in, picks up the screen, and glances at it: "Oh, so they call me a contamination mutant, do they..."
