Get the Moon

For as long as he can remember, Getto has longed for one simple thing: his father's attention. Yet no matter how hard he tries to earn it, the professor's focus remains fixed elsewhere, consumed entirely by the AI robots he builds. To Getto, it has always seemed as though those machines matter more to his father than his own son does. Everything changes when Getto graduates from high school. As a congratulatory gift, his father sends him P-02, one of his own AI creations. P-02 arrives bearing an unexpected piece of news: the professor once described Getto as his "best creation ever." Puzzled by how a human could be hailed as a creation—let alone the finest one—P-02 resolves to uncover the reason behind those words and to claim that coveted title for himself. When the two finally meet, confusion and misunderstandings ensue. Yet out of this rocky beginning, something genuine begins to grow, and they gradually come to realize that the most important presence in each of their lives may be one another. Rounding out the story are short tales following the unlikely pair through everyday adventures alongside other AIs and Getto's father, the professor.
