Peach Girl

In this coming-of-age story, Momo Adachi is a high school student struggling with her own identity. Perceived by her peers as a promiscuous "beach bunny" due to her sun-kissed skin, which is actually a result of her participation in the swim team, Momo's self-esteem is severely impacted. She becomes infatuated with Toji, who she believes prefers girls with fair skin, leading her to question her own worth and attempt to remake herself in his image. However, her friend Sae secretly undermines Momo's efforts, causing additional turmoil in her life, while a romantic interest in the form of Kairi adds complexity to the narrative.
