The Lady and Her Butler

Lim Sooha has built a life around independence: a demanding career, a brand-new home, and a household that seems to produce chores faster than she can manage. Romance is not part of her plan, and the last thing she wants is a man disrupting the order she has worked to create. That resolve is tested when a man literally walks through her front door: Taesoo, homeless and desperate for a break, asks to stay with her in exchange for keeping house. Sooha hesitates at first, but the promise of returning to warm meals, clean sheets, and neatly ironed clothes is hard to resist. Taesoo proves he is more than capable, and when he also claims to be gay, Sooha agrees to the arrangement, believing it can remain practical and uncomplicated. Yet the setup may not be as simple as it appears. Taesoo’s claim is a lie, and Sooha’s conflicted feelings threaten to turn their tidy bargain into a much bigger mess.
