My Pet Bat

High school senior Min-Gyeom has been forced to fend for himself after his parents abruptly cut him out of their lives. Left with no family support, he relocates to a rundown neighborhood where the streets are far from safe. The area has recently become the center of a string of unexplained assaults, with victims consistently found suffering from severe blood loss and strange bite marks left on their necks. Shortly after settling into his new home, Min-Gyeom steps out to find something to eat, only to experience a sudden blackout. He awakens back inside his house with no memory of how he returned, but discovers unsettling marks on his own neck that mirror the attacks plaguing the neighborhood. Desperate to maintain a sense of normalcy, he attempts to brush off the disturbing incident as nothing more than a bizarre coincidence. However, his resolve is tested when he begins attending his new school. There, he notices that his assigned deskmate bears an uncanny resemblance to someone from his fragmented memories of that night. With an unusually pale complexion and a quietly familiar presence, this mysterious classmate leaves Min-Gyeom questioning everything that happened in the dark—and wondering if the danger from his new neighborhood has followed him straight into the classroom.
