Kaisou Toshi Danpenshuu

Kaisou Toshi Danpenshuu chronicles the existence of a colossal, multi-layered metropolis constructed by humanity following its acquisition of advanced technology. As the city’s structure rises ever higher, the narrative observes both those who witness its ongoing construction and the residents who inhabit its depths. Within this vertical sprawl, humans and their creations continuously stack their distinct modes of existence atop one another. This work serves as an archive of life itself, documenting the various eras of a world steadily approaching its end.
