A Flower Blooms on the Wall

For Dam Do, first love has always felt less like a romance and more like a shadow that refuses to leave her side. The boy next door once trailed after her every step with hopeless, unshakable devotion, and over the years the memory of that relentless pursuit has hardened into a resentment she can no longer ignore. Then Yun Oh—an old friend of her brother's—reappears in her life, and Dam realizes with a jolt that the grown man standing before her is that very boy. The eager devotion is gone; in its place is a composed, almost icy distance that leaves her off balance, uncertain whether to feel relieved or unsettled. What she cannot see is the truth beneath his cool exterior: behind that aloof mask, Yun is quietly overjoyed simply to be near his first love again. As the two gradually find their way back into each other's orbits after years apart, pride and distance must give way to something deeper—and they may both discover that real love looks nothing like the childish feelings they once knew.
