Ninja to Koroshiya no Futarigurashi

Satoko is a ninja on the run, having abandoned her village and the only life she ever knew. Her rare and invaluable ability—the power to transform any non-living object into a flurry of leaves—makes her a prized asset, but it also ensures she can never stop moving. Hunted by relentless pursuers sent to silence her for the crime of desertion, she drifts through a world that offers no safe harbor, until her desperate flight brings her to an unexpected crossing with an unassuming high school student. That student is Konoha, though her after-hours identity paints a far more dangerous picture: a professional assassin who navigates the underworld with cold precision. When their paths collide, the circumstances prove mutually useful. Satoko urgently requires a refuge from the ninja forces closing in on her, while Konoha finds herself in need of a reliable accomplice to eliminate the incriminating traces left behind by her deadly work. Recognizing the perfect symmetry in their predicaments, they strike an unorthodox arrangement and agree to share a single roof. Living together out of pure necessity rather than trust, the fugitive ninja and the teenage killer must now manage the fraught, delicate balance of their double existences, knowing that a single misstep could unravel their fragile sanctuary and bring ruin upon them both.
