This Can't Be First Love

Keiichi and Sota have shared an unbreakable bond ever since their elementary school days, growing up side by side through every stage of their youth. Charming and effortlessly popular, Sota has never lacked for female attention—yet he has turned down every confession that comes his way, going so far as to dodge his admirers entirely by retreating to the school nurse's office. For Keiichi, this peculiar habit is simply another familiar quirk of his best friend's life. That comfortable routine begins to shift when Keiichi notices Sota growing closer to Jou, a girl who frequents the nurse's office herself. Watching the two of them get along so easily stirs something unexpected in Keiichi's chest—a sharp, unfamiliar pang of jealousy he cannot bring himself to name. As his emotions churn, it may ultimately be Jou who holds the key to Keiichi's heart. Through her presence, he is finally forced to confront the truth he has long kept buried: what he feels for his childhood friend has never been simple friendship at all.
