Iki Dekinai no wa Kimi no Sei

Shizuki is a man devoted to his own pleasure—a hedonistic playboy who spends his days chasing indulgence and his evenings playing baritone saxophone in the local council's brass band. Yet among all his fellow musicians, there is one he cannot stand: Yano, the band's beloved flutist, whose refined, prince-like charm has made him a favorite of everyone around him. Shizuki makes no effort to hide his disdain, openly disliking the very man everyone else adores. On the surface, their relationship is exactly what it appears to be. Throughout practice, the two barely exchange words, maintaining a cool distance that suggests nothing more than mutual indifference. To their bandmates, they are simply two people who don't get along, sharing nothing but the same rehearsal space and the music that fills it. But appearances tell only half the story. A shared interest neither has ever mentioned in public quietly draws the two together, and once practice ends, their true relationship unfolds far from watchful eyes—clandestine meetings behind the closed doors of hotels. As the gap between their public coldness and private closeness widens, Shizuki and Yano find themselves bound by a secret neither can afford to let come to light.
