Tsubame Tip Off!

Tsubame begins her first year of high school burdened by an insecurity that has shadowed her for years: her height. Although she towers over her peers, in her own mind she is nothing more than a small, timid girl, and her clumsy, unathletic nature only deepens her belief that she belongs anywhere but on a sports field. Hoping for a quiet and comfortable school life, she sets her sights on the cultural clubs, convinced that a gentle indoor activity is the only place where someone like her could ever fit in. Her carefully laid plans are thrown into disarray when she crosses paths with Ibis, an upperclassman who stands as her striking opposite. Small in stature yet impossible to overlook, Ibis carries herself with a presence far larger than her frame suggests. Then comes the invitation Tsubame never anticipated: her senior abruptly asks her to join the basketball club. For a girl who has always treated her height as a flaw to hide and athletics as a world forever out of reach, the offer turns everything upside down. Torn between the safe, quiet club life she envisioned and the unexpected court now stretching before her, Tsubame may be on the verge of discovering that the very trait she resents could become her greatest strength.
