Karakai Jouzu no (Moto) Takagi-san

The teasing queen of her school days has grown up, and the game she once mastered has found an entirely new arena: her own home. Now a married woman no longer known as Takagi-san, she fills her days with the cheerful bustle of family life, proving that a mischievous streak never truly fades with age — it simply discovers fresh targets. Her favorite playmate is her daughter, Chi-chan, an energetic little girl who has inherited her mother's love of playful banter. Together, the two transform ordinary household moments into lighthearted competitions, as the former Takagi-san learns that raising a child is the perfect chance to keep her signature game alive — and perhaps to pass it down to the next generation. Yet one playful question lingers at the heart of this warm home comedy: will Dad ever make an appearance? The answer remains part of the series' gentle charm, leaving readers free to savor the mother-daughter antics while wondering about the man who stands behind the teasing.
