Vampire Killer

Off the coast of Tokyo lies the Vampire Bund, an island nation whose vampire inhabitants live under the rule of Princess Mina Tepes. Though the Bund's history is stained with conflict and turmoil, there are stretches of calm during which it flourishes as a beloved destination for travelers from around the world. It is during one such peaceful period that two teenage tourists arrive, only to have their visit take a horrifying turn when they are suddenly and inexplicably transformed into vampires themselves. With nowhere else to turn, they plead their case to Princess Mina and her unwaveringly loyal lycanthrope bodyguard, Akira, hoping the pair can undo the curse that now binds them. Their salvation hangs on a razor-thin margin: a cure must be found within forty-eight hours, or the two will remain vampires for the rest of their lives. What begins as a frantic race against the clock soon becomes a dangerous game of cat and mouse, carrying them across every corner of the Bund in pursuit of the one person who holds the key to restoring their humanity.
