Strike Witches: One-Winged Witches

In humanity’s desperate struggle against the alien Neuroi, the spotlight often falls on the celebrated aces and icons of the 501st Joint Fighter Wing. Yet, compelling narratives extend far beyond these elite ranks. Sergeant Wilma Bishop is assigned to the Isle of Wight detachment, the sister unit to the renowned 501st. Unlike its famous counterpart, this base is populated not by seasoned veterans, but by anxious novices and those recovering from injury. Though these “one-winged witches” may not yet possess the prowess to fly alongside the aces, each member carries a unique and poignant story worth hearing.
