Puella Magi Madoka Magica: Wraith Arc

The universe has been forever transformed. Witches—the twisted beings that once lurked in the shadows of humanity's despair—have vanished from existence entirely, erased from every world and every corner of reality. For the residents of Mitakihara City, it seems as though a long nightmare has finally come to an end, and a peaceful future stretches out before them at last. Yet tranquility proves fleeting. In place of the witches, a new and unknown threat has emerged: the wraiths. These mysterious creatures feed on human emotions, preying upon the hearts and feelings of the people themselves. As the wraiths spread their influence through the shadows, the city once again finds itself under siege by forces far beyond ordinary human understanding. Standing against this menace are the magical girls, who take up their weapons yet again to defend Mitakihara City. Bound by duty and unwavering resolve, they pledge to shield the city and its people from the wraiths' predations—guarding what remains of hope in a world reshaped by miracle.
