Stigmata -Love Bites

Within the Metropolitan Police Department's Special Investigation Section Six rests a secret weapon unlike any other: rookie detective Minami Asako. Asako carries a strange and unsettling condition—whenever a life is lost, the wounds and agony of the deceased imprint themselves onto his own flesh. What most would call a curse has quietly become one of the force's most valuable assets. By effectively "becoming" the victim, Asako attains an understanding of each case that no ordinary investigation could achieve, and his eerie talent has been instrumental in solving crime after crime. Yet every resolution comes at a price, forcing him to physically shoulder suffering that was never meant to be his. Now Section Six confronts its most delicate case yet: the latest victim is Kuroiwa's ex-wife. Once again, Asako must offer up his body as a living record of the dead, bearing marks and misery that belong to someone else. But with personal history casting a shadow over the investigation, will his extraordinary gift s쳮d in uncovering the truth this time—or will it fail him precisely when it matters most?
