Yuki and Matsu

On a bitter, snowbound night, Dr. Sho-an drags home the body of a beautiful man he unearthed from the drifts. In his line of work, corpses command a handsome price when rendered into medicinal goods, and the doctor envisions a tidy sum to keep his practice afloat. To his profound irritation, however, he soon realizes the man is still breathing—and nurses him back from the edge of death. That disappointment quickly fades as his would-be cadaver, now turned patient, demonstrates the many pleasures a living body can provide. Though the doctor knows nothing of his new charge save that he is a former yakuza, he dubs him Yuki and orders him to go out and procure more corpses. Instead, Yuki moves into the doctor's home, defending both it and its occupant with blade and flesh alike.
