Spirit Circle

Fourteen-year-old Fuuta Okeya leads an otherwise ordinary life, save for one unusual trait: he can see ghosts. When a pretty new transfer student named Kouko Ishigami joins his class, she immediately proves hostile toward him. Always accompanied by a ghost she calls East, Kouko seems intent on keeping Fuuta at arm's length. Despite his efforts to befriend her, their uneasy dynamic shatters the moment she spots the birthmark he habitually conceals. In that instant, she condemns him as her enemy, brands his mark a cursed emblem, and speaks of reincarnation—insisting that their fates are bound by a long and tangled history. Who is this girl, and what is the true nature of their connection?
