Elite!! - Expert Latitudinous Investigation Team

Imafuku Sachi lives a quiet life as a police officer in the countryside, but his past is anything but ordinary. Twenty years ago, he was the sole survivor of a devastating plane crash, and he has since walked away completely unscathed from three separate accidents—a remarkable string of escapes that sets him apart from everyone around him. His uneventful routine comes to an end when Imafuku is appointed to the criminal division of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police. Uprooted from the slow rhythms of rural policing, he is thrust into the demanding, fast-paced environment of Japan's capital, where serious crime is handled on an entirely different scale. Within his new assignment, Imafuku crosses paths with the two young leaders of the Special Wide Area Investigation Section. Standing at the threshold of this elite unit, the man who has defied death time and again now steps into an unfamiliar world of high-stakes investigation—the beginning of a brand-new chapter in a life that has never been ordinary.
