Having transformed from an offering to a beloved mate, Tsubame now shares a life of blissful domesticity with the deity, a union blessed by the arrival of their two children. Their days are painted in the gentle hues of familial sweetness and the quiet joy of a love that once seemed impossible, yet now feels as solid as the earth beneath their feet. However, the idyllic peace of Tsubame's new life is threatened by the arrival of Itenagi, an old comrade of Murakumo. Driven by arrogance and a warped sense of entitlement, Itenagi believes that his divine nature makes him a far more suitable partner for Murakumo than a mere human. With calculated malice, he sets his sights on dismantling Tsubame's position, preying upon the very love and devotion that makes the once-sacrifice hesitant to cause discord. Unable to openly confront the god for fear of burdening Murakumo, Tsubame is left vulnerable to Itenagi's machinations. The situation reaches a dire turning point when Itenagi unveils a dangerous secret, one that has long been hidden beneath the faint, telltale bruise on Tsubame's neck, threatening to shatter the fragile peace and unravel the precious life they have built together.
