My Extraordinary Factory Girl

Inspired by true events, this emotional drama follows a young migrant worker who heads south to Dongguan in search of opportunity. Thrust into the grueling routine of the factory assembly line and confined to sweltering shared housing, he encounters an unforgettable woman known as the "extraordinary factory girl." Their lives become intertwined amidst the harsh realities of industrial labor, leading to a complex web of romantic entanglements. As their relationship deepens, the protagonist is introduced to the phenomenon of "temporary marriages"—unofficial unions formed between migrant workers to cope with loneliness and economic pressure. Drawn into this arrangement, he assumes the role of a temporary husband, navigating the blurred lines between companionship, survival, and genuine affection in a transient world.
