Baku to Nemurihime

Princess Mary has not known a peaceful night's sleep in far too long, and it shows. Night after night, relentless nightmares jolt her from her slumber, leaving her drained, irritable, and impossible to please by daylight. Her exhaustion is fast overshadowing the poise expected of her, and her waking hours are becoming as bleak as the terrors that plague her dreams. Something must change before sleeplessness consumes her entirely. Hope arrives in unexpected form: a man known as "The Dream Eating Tapir," a figure whose name evokes the legendary beast said to devour bad dreams. When this enigmatic dream-eater crosses paths with the weary princess, Mary may finally have a chance at the restful nights she so desperately craves. But can he truly banish the horrors tormenting her sleep and lift the dark mood shadowing her days? This tale blends whimsy and quiet melancholy around a single, captivating question — what happens when the one who devours nightmares meets a princess drowning in them?
