Official Details
During the spring of their second year of high school, Asuka’s life changes forever when she watches Masami perform on the Harmony Drums at a school festival. Captivated by his music, she finds herself falling deeply in love with him. However, her affection faces a profound obstacle: Masami is deaf. Living entirely within a silent world, he has gradually closed himself off from others, keeping his heart firmly guarded against outside connection. Despite this emotional barrier, Asuka refuses to give up, and their relationship slowly begins to take shape. What follows is a miraculous yet bittersweet romance, marked by quiet moments of understanding and the inherent pain of two people trying to bridge an immense divide. Their journey unfolds into a pure midsummer love story that beautifully explores vulnerability, ultimately leaving a lasting warmth in the hearts of those who witness it. Kingyo Sou stands as the highly anticipated debut comic from creator Fujitsuka Yuki, delivering a deeply moving narrative about love that transcends silence.
