Wakusei Closet

Whenever sleep claims her, the protagonist is drawn through her dreams into a surreal alternate dimension—a shifting, otherworldly realm crawling with monsters. This strange ability grants her nightly passage into a place far beyond ordinary reality, a dreamscape both wondrous and unsettling, where bizarre creatures wander through scenery that obeys none of the waking world's rules. Then, one night, the impossible happens. Among the monstrous inhabitants of that strange world, she comes across someone she never expected to meet: another human girl, standing in the very same dream. Before she can begin to make sense of the encounter, the girl turns to her with an earnest plea for help. The meeting transforms her dream visits from a solitary peculiarity into something with real weight. A fellow human now stands in a dimension teeming with danger—a place only she seems able to reach—and she is the one being asked to act. Answering that plea means venturing deeper into a world ruled by monsters; refusing it means turning away from the only human companion her dreams have ever shown her. Caught between caution and compassion, she must decide how far she is willing to go for a girl on the other side of sleep.
