Tianyu Lin has built his reputation on order. As the head of the student council's Discipline Department, he enforces the rules of senior high school with unwavering precision, making his rounds with a sharp eye for even the smallest infraction. To him, structure is everything—until a routine inspection introduces him to someone determined to test that belief. During one of his usual patrols, Tianyu notices an unexpected sight: a student fast asleep in the very last row beside the window. The culprit is Ze Xu, a newly enrolled first-year who seems entirely untroubled by the rules Tianyu holds sacred. True to his duty, Tianyu approaches the drowsy newcomer and issues him a demerit, expecting nothing more than an ordinary disciplinary matter. What neither of them could have predicted is that this single demerit would alter the course of both their lives.
